
This page provides our standard terms and conditions of rental for our guests
Email Booking
Avalon Vacation Homes will provide a quotation by email or fax stating the total rental fee to the Guest for the property requested. Quotations are valid for 30 days, unless otherwise stated or the Property is reserved with a confirmed reservation deposit. In order to confirm a booking, the guest must provide a valid bank card number with expiration date and billing address, and agrees to have half the rental amount placed on the card. This can be done either by email or calling our toll free number 1-877-866-7368. Rentals are from Saturday to Saturday.
Confirmed Booking
On receipt of the reservation deposit, Avalon Vacation Homes, will issue a Rental agreement with property address and dates of rental period via mail to the Guest. The receipt and 2 copies of the contract will be mailed, Guest will sign one copy and mail back to Avalon Vacation Homes in the return envelope provided.
Rental Period
The Guest agrees and Avalon Vacation Homes permits the Rental Period to begin and end on the dates shown as the rental period as shown on the Rental agreement.
Check In/Check Out Procedures
Check In time is 1:00 p.m. on the date of arrival, per the rental agreement. Any Guest arriving to collect keys before that time may be refused at the discretion of the Company.
Check Out time is 10:00 a.m. on the date of departure, per the rental agreement.
Security Deposit
The Guest will pay a refundable security deposit of $700.00 one month before arrival date, per the rental agreement. The Guest is responsible for all loss or damage to the property or its inventory during the Rental Period
The Guest agrees that Avalon Vacation Homes can deduct sums from the security deposit to cover:
Non-return of keys
Loss or breakage of inventory items
Damage to the Property or its equipment
Where loss or damage to the Property, the Inventory or Equipment exceeds the amount of the security deposit, Avalon Vacation Homes will bill the guest for the shortfall and the Guest agrees to pay. In the event that the Guest fails to pay any such shortfall, Avalon Vacation Homes reserves the right to exercise any legal remedies to pursue the amount owed from the Guest.
Payment
The Guest agrees to pay the Total Rental Fee as shown on the rental agreement within the due dates outlined on the rental agreement. In the event of late payment, or failure to pay, Avalon Vacation Homes reserves the right to levy the cancellation percentage charges against any money that the Guest has paid in advance and cancel the booking of the Guest. Where the money paid in advance is insufficient to cover the calculated percentage, Avalon Vacation Homes reserves the right to exercise any legal remedies to pursue the amount owed from the Guest.
Cancellation Policy and Fees
In the event the Lessee wishes to cancel this lease, he/she shall make such request in writing to Jeffrey and Terry Pyle, P.O. Box 504 Avondale, PA 19311. This shall be terminated only after another Lessee is secured for the same time period and rental amount or permission from the Lessor is otherwise granted. If property is not re-rented the tenant remains liable to the owner for the full balance due. If any rent is unpaid or not paid on time, or if default shall be made in any of the terms and conditions of this lease, the lease shall be terminated or if premises are occupied, must be vacated immediately, with no refund.
Cancellation Fees are assessed as follows:
Cancellations must be done in writing and addressed to Jeffrey & Terry Pyle. The lease will only be terminated only after another leasee is secured for the same time period and rental amount. This is outlined on the rental agreement.
Refund Policy
Any money due a Guest from a cancellation will be refunded to the Guest within 30 days of accepted cancellations by Avalon Vacation Homes.
Limitation of Liability
Avalon Vacation Homes makes all reasonable efforts to provide advice and safety information. This information can be found in the paperwork mailed to you after final payment has been made and is posted throughout the house. It is the responsibility of the Guest to ensure that they have read and understood the contents and advice given. Avalon Vacation Homes is willing to provide any and further information pertaining to the Property providing the Guest has first read the final paperwork sent them. In addition, Avalon Vacation Homes states the following:
Avalon Vacation Homes does not accept liability for equipment failure and or services in the Property. In the event of failure of equipment, the Guest must notify the management company within 1 working day such that they can elect to remedy the failure
Avalon Vacation Homes does not accept liability for lost or stolen personal property of the Guest from the Property during the Rental Period. Avalon Vacation Homes provides information and advice in paperwork mailed out in an advisory capacity only, with no guarantee or promise of security, even where the Guest makes use of advice given. In the event that the property of the Guest is stolen or lost, the Guest should advise Avalon Vacation Homes/or the management company and they will in turn notify the appropriate authority.
Avalon Vacation Homes accepts no liability for personal loss or injury to the Guest during the Rental Period. The Guest must ensure that they have adequate insurance cover. Avalon Vacation homes provides information and advice in the final paperwork to the Guest in an advisory capacity only, with no guarantee or promise implied.
Avalon Vacation Homes does not accept any liability for the acts or omissions of any agent. These include but not limited to airlines, car hire companies, travel agents, ticket agents, homeowners, or utility providers.
Avalon Vacation Homes does not accept liability for acts of violence, nature, fire, flood, war, civil disobedience, riot, or other force majure that may have a deleterious effect on the Guest. In the event of such force majure Avalon Vacation Homes will try to assist the Guest whenever possible to do so.
